What games can I play?
Our facility is a laid-back, fun atmosphere. The golf simulators we have allow for four different modes of game play for that you can use to practice or play fun golf games with friends and family. Swing on by (pun intended)!
Do I use real golf clubs?
You'll use real golf clubs and real golf balls, the exact same ones you would use on an outdoor golf course. Each bay is stocked with golf clubs free of charge, but you're always welcome to bring your own clubs.
What do I hit the golf ball into?
State of Golf has 16' x 9' hitting screens that the golf courses are projected onto. Once your golf ball hits the screen, our software simulates where your shot would have gone on that golf course and you play just the same as any other round of golf.
How does putting work?
There are 2 options for putting - "auto putt" and "manual putting." Auto putting uses an algorithm based on PGA Tour player averages to determine how many putts you will get from a given distance. Manual putting is where you putt yourself while a grid is displayed on the green showing the break and slope.
How do I know that it's accurate?
We utilize Trackman 4 golf simulators, and if you don't know what those are we'll just say this - 91 out of the top 100 PGA tour pros use them for training and simulation. Trackman simulators are certified 99.7% accurate.
What golf courses can I play?
State of Golf currently offers 48 golf courses (more added every month) including PGA Tour courses such as PGA National, St. Andrews, Muirfield Village and many more. Or if you just want to work on your game you can use the driving range function and harness the power of Trackman swing analysis.
Does State of Golf serve food and drinks?
We have a fully stocked bar and we partner with nearby restaurants to give you a variety of food and drink options during your time at State of Golf. Each bay has menus for food and drinks, simply order from one of our servers and we'll bring it right to you.
What are your business hours?
Our hours are 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. Sunday - Thursday and 10 A.M. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
What does it Cost?
We charge an hourly rate per bay. M+T $25 an hour, W+Th $35 an hour, Fri+Sat $45 an hour, and Sunday is $45 an hour from 10:00am-5:00pm and $25 an hour from 5:00pm-10:00pm.
